Evening Flow

From in the mists of high above
A woman fell to Earth below
As though she had nowhere to go
She drifted down to Earth

The woman fell from life above
Adrift with nowhere left to go
Drowned in waters of Hatteras
Found in waters of Evening Flow

As her children bereaved her soul in love
Her coffin lowered in the ground below
They grieved too great a grief to know
When their mother was laid to rest

They looked to a misty sky above
Knowing too great a pain to know
Wondering where it is they should go
As rain fell down to Earth

It rained in waters of Evening Flow
For the grieving down below
